Whenever I happen to stumble upon a completely free day, I’ll dedicate a contiguous 12-hour block towards building, improving, and writing for the Garden. My intention for publishing these is to share some behind-the-scenes flavor text for how some of my other thoughts came to be, and to leave a trail of things that I’ve considered but intentionally didn’t write more about.
During a Garden Day, I aim to be as deliberate as possible about my goals and progress throughout my available time. This seems to be useful to my future self as a way of reflecting upon how I do and prioritize my writing (and also has the side effect of demonstrating this to others!).
